This section provides the ratings for research engagement, impact and approach to impact by two-digit Field of Research codes, interdisciplinary, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research.
The table shows the ratings for assessed UoAs that met the low volume threshold except for cases where the institution requested that the UoA not be assessed for impact, e.g. the majority of the research outputs were primarily basic or fundamental research, or the research area at the institution was too new. In these cases the UoA is shown as ‘rnta’ (i.e. request not to assess) in the table.
The low-volume threshold did not apply to the interdisciplinary nor the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research impact studies. Institutions could opt-in for either or both (see ‘low volume threshold’ section in the introduction of this report for more details).
Where the institution did not meet the low volume threshold and did not ‘opt-in’ for assessment in the UoA ‘n/a’ (i.e. not assessed) is shown in the table.
The full details of the EI 2018 rating scales for engagement, impact and approach to impact are available in the introduction of this report.
Note: Two UoAs (see FoR 12 and 20) received impact ratings for the overall content of the impact study and ratings for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research content.
One UoA (see FoR 12) received a rating for the overall approach to impact information within the impact study and a rating for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research content.
